Behind the Front Facade

This dollhouse was put together for the granddaughter of a friend. She loves it and will play for long periods with the house, redecorating and moving things around to suit her. This was a learning experience for me, and thankfully she doesn't see any flaws with the dollhouse!

It is a simple two shelf bookcase with an attic addition made from foam board. I like to have a depth of 10" - 12" for the rooms. This gives you plenty of decorating space for Barbie.

We have a combination living, dining, and kitchen area on the first floor. A bedroom and bath on the second floor. Then an attic bedroom on the third floor.
