Tiki Bar and Picnic Patio

The Tiki Bar was fun to create. The base structure is the Barbie Pinktastic 2012 Glam Vacation House with built in kitchenette. All pink parts were painted white, and a wood bar counter was added across the open front section. Fashion Fever kitchen bar stools sit at the bar. The roof top is reached via a white circular stairway taken from a Barbie Dream House. Fencing from a 1982 Barbie Loves McDonald's and the 1986 Tropical Pool and Patio set enclose the upper level which has two chairs from the 1987 Barbie Styling Salon Vanity. Lavender Spanish tile roof pieces from the 2006 3rd story Dream Home offer shade on both sides of the Tiki Bar. Little embellishments of a Tiki Bar sign, Tiki masks, tiny umbrellas, a tropical palm tree (planted in a little tiki shot glass) and patio lanterns add to the piece. The patio lanterns, lighted bird of paradise tiki luau torch and room power platform (which is the base for the picnic table area) are American Girl AG Mini Illuma. Fencing around the picnic table area is from the 1986 Barbie Tropical Pool and Patio Set. The picnic table and umbrella finish the patio area. The backside of the Tiki Bar has faux plants glued to the cardboard to give a 3D look. Also along the back wall is an outdoor kitchen area and bar b que grill which have been painted for a more realistic look. Little swinging doors leading to the picnic/patio were glued to the open door area on the right side of the Tiki Bar. The left side has a door with tiki mask decoration.
